One Million Benefit of Soursop

Besides useful as  juice ingredient, it turns out soursop has many benefits for health. One of them overcome cancer.
Never underestimate the soursop fruit. Although so far only be consumed in the form of juice, but the benefits of soursop is extraordinary.
From the research of scientists, soursop is very good to maintain and cope with health problems. Such as heart problems, liver, asthma, arthritis and the most astonishing soursop can overcome various kinds of cancer.

 
Anticancer
Soursop plant parts, including leaves and fruits, contains considerable valuable compounds, such as fructose, fat, protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A, vitamin B Secondary metabolites contained in it is a tannin compound group, phytosterol and alkaloids.
A compound of interest to researchers is asetogenin. This is a specific compound contained in the Annonaceae plant tribe, the efficacy is closely related to anti-tumor activity, anti-bacterial and insecticidal.
From research, asetogenin contained in soursop can be used to hit the colon cancer cells, pancreas, ovary, colon, breast, liver, cervix.
Another study by animal experiment was to prove the presence of the antioxidant activity of compounds content of soursop. If it is true, then of course anti-cancer properties one of which relates to the ability of compounds to protect healthy cells from damage that triggers cancer attacks.
In traditional Indian medicine system of Ayurveda, soursop has a great reputation as an anticancer. Support research results prove, the leaves of this plant contain compounds called bullatasin asetogenin from other Annona fruit crops, namely Annona atemoya.
This compound was found to induce apoptosis. Other asetogenin compounds, namely murisin, murikatetrosin, longifolisin, korossolin and korossolan proven to give positive results as cytotoxic against tumor cells.



 

Overcoming diabetes
One of the usage of interest to researchers is to control blood sugar levels rise alias diabetes. This type of research to prove efficacy as an anti-diabetes is quite varied so that it works slowly began to be disclosed.
A study conducted to prove the mechanism of antidiabetic soursop leaf extract proved the presence of islet cell regeneration in the pancreas glands of mice. These results provide hope, the use of leaf extracts to improve the function of insulin-producing glands as needed people with diabetes.

 
Processing and Use
A simple way to eat fruit soursop is to soften the fruit already peeled, seeded and filtered by adding water little by little. The result of screening can then be directly consumed by the addition of a little honey to cope with a sour taste.
The addition of sugar and honey is not recommended in patients with diabetes, therefore must try to love the taste of real fruit soursop. For people who experience stomach upset, it is advisable to fill the stomach in advance to prevent disease.
Pregnant and lactating women are advised not to consume soursop leaf stew, but eat enough fruit soursop still be allowed .*
